What You Need To Know:

Based on the Book of Revelations’s Disciple in the Moonlight paints an alternative realistic world where the US decides to do a Holocaust and the world refuses to help. Nate is sought out by the Disciples, an anti-government organization, to smuggle seven Bibles to churches. In the meanwhile, Jim, who Aaron Martin, a government supporter, has killed his wife, and with a daughter living abroad, is filled with fear. Will there ever be a twist in the story and have some spark of hope? And if so, how will it affect Nate’s plan?

The plot is truly gripping. Jim’s wife was shot by Timothy E. Meyer’s agents, setting the stage for revenge. Josh Strychalski has given many worthy mentions of surprise stages throughout the narrative. Things are moving rapidly. The screenplay is captivating action with finesse and intelligence with incredible world-building. The film does a wonderful job of presenting divine justice and the belief that God anticipates everything and does every single thing in the best possible way. In summary, this is one of the best Christian films in recent history.

Structure:

Dominant Worldview and Other Worldview Content/Elements: I would classify the film’s worldview and values in general, along with the understanding of history as obviously rational, and strong The sovereign worldview spanned working both big out for a really go for the sin over the commission on people who think it is unproductive to do so, more specifically a configuring’s realm of influence enables and encourages people to worship the Lord God, the Father of Jesus and creates for fear of Him, I hear that men have begun to view both crosses as their eternal punishment and the Holy Spirit conquers over death, the fear that is in the world, hence a tax on something that shows very solely character, is takeable very separately from the POPE only from so and from subjugate, from Antoniani must continue and there are absolutely no hearts influence from the establishment of the American people. The powers that be have loads of money so they have been successful in suppressing the Christopher override all, monitoring all people who speak abominable things against Christianity while bringing the curse of Christ on Americans.
Foul Language: There are no vulgarities or profanities, however, three or four times people address God, Lord, and bless Chrome and others saying Jesus does love them.

Violence: The relatively mild violence portrayed in this conflict scenario includes the shooting of government agents at civilians, in one instance a man being shot and killed and another man seriously injured by a single gunman, Christians being targeted for off-screen assassination attempts as a camera cuts away to the view of a train colliding into a truck which has been stalled on the railway tracks, law enforcement officers apprehending individuals suspected of terrorist acts, a woman uses a shovel to strike another woman, who is pointing a shotgun towards two cowards for possible bounty, people get chased by some Taliban terrorists, and short duration tussles involving punching, and so forth follow.

Miscellaneous Immorality: Psychotic and tyrannical governments will lie and make their own bible, the words of which would be accurately revised to suit circumstances of cover-up or deception such as the movie portrays effectively, the government has failed to keep the contents of John 3; The fifty and seventy in their original phrases and still is able to market an ironic universalist antinomian false gospel that promises no justice or hell to help the general population however it outlaws the real one (the cover government bible is admittedly and clearly much shorter).

DISCIPLES IN THE MOONLIGHT, this book follows the stories of seven people smuggling Bibles into Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky who face persecution from a totalitarian tyrant who has created a false flag situation to besiege the Holy Book. This is pretty much an ‘action’ thriller both well-written and well-paced with a strong direction about spreading the word of God and a stern warning about government oppression. In terms of the film and its storytelling, this story has it all in great detail as well as a strong message that puts forward an inspirational biblical perspective regarding the importance of spreading Christian teachings to the masses.

It is possible to seek refuge in a mundane job after being indicatively arrested by the government. Jim Edwards, the former pastor who preaches the gospels goes into hiding after losing his wife to the muzzle of a policeman during an anti-tyrannical Christian demonstration in Ohio. The Bible has also been prohibited ever since that SHOWN maniac employed the mass gathering for his own fascist ends to grant the 3-letter-organization a monopoly over the Holy Bible and channel a limited version to the masses. Since that moment a multitude of things shifted. As the now Othered Bible created by the government has suppressed the Word of God, it has even gone ahead to amend John 3:16 – ‘For God so loved the world.’ to promote a universalistic and non-punitive ideological Golden Rule – tolerance and “high inclusion.”

Jim had worked with the leader of the Springfield protest, who went by the name “The Apostle”. After the turmoil, the apostle got in touch with Jim’s friend, Nate Smith, who is still a member of an underground church. The Apostle requests Nate to help in transporting copies of the hard-carried Bibles to seven churches situated in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Nate has a strategy, but he requires Jim’s knowledge to implement it effectively. But Jim does not accept, as he doesn’t want his adult daughter Ashley to meet the same destiny that his wife met. Ashley wishes to assist Nate, but her father makes some efforts to prevent her from doing so.

Will this be the time when something persuades Jim to assist? How about the smuggling plan that was initiated, will it be successful?

The book, DISCIPLES IN THE MOONLIGHT, is a brilliantly engaged and well-crafted thriller with a tension-filled narrative. Author Josh Strychalski has infused interesting and suspenseful elements that sustain and keep viewers enthralled. Strychalski is also cast as one of the bible smugglers who had some family constraints to tackle. Strong performances in the film, while Bret Varvel, who portrays Nate, also directs the film with great aplomb.

DISCIPLES IN THE MOONLIGHT has an encouraging Christian, biblical message as its focal point. It carries strong ideas about the need to guard, propagate, and defend God’s Word. It also warns against tyranny from the State. According to some critics, DISCIPLES IN THE MOONLIGHT is one of the best faith-inspired films as well as one of the most recent thrillers.

As a faith-based film, whenever the award ceremonies take place, DISCIPLES IN THE MOONLIGHT will take the award with ease. It is more than capable of winning an Oscar, but Hollywood does not like giving awards to thrillers, and even more so thrillers that have a strong religious theme on the freedom of worship for Christians.
